Advanced Chemistry Cell Manufacturing

Cyantron Advanced Chemistry Cell Manufacturing (Giga Factory)

Cyantron advanced chemistry cell manufacturing is a greenfield project which aims to target India's targeted Giga watt capacity by 2030. Cyantron GigaFactory aspires to be one of its first kind factories in the country where battery cell packs are manufactured from scratch.

The upcoming project aims to have a cutting-edge manufacturing facility that has the capacity to produce cells on a Giga scale. 1GWH represents one-billion watt-hours of energy, equal to about one million kilowatt hours.  Moreover, Cyantron has signed MoU with the Central for Material- Electronics Technology (C-MET), Pune, for reaching and developing Lithium Ions Cell Chemistries.

The planned Gigafactory will focus on manufacturing cylindrical cells. We also plan to make Lithium Ferrous Phosphate (LFP) cell cathode material by expanding various lithium family battery segments to our battery portfolio.

Here is the list of Advanced Chemistry cells we aim to develop in our Cell Manufacturing Gigafactory Initiative:

  • Lithium Ferrous Phosphate (LFP)

  • Lithium Manganese Ferrous Phosphate (LMFP)

  • Lithium Titanate Oxide (LTO)

  • Nickle Manganese Cobalt Oxide (NMC)

  • Nickle Cobalt Aluminium Oxide (NCA)

  • Lithium Nickle Manganese Oxide (LNMO)

  • Sodium Ion (Na+)

  • Solid State Battery
